Nature's Own Water Cleaning Process
Ultraviolet radiation from the sun purifes
water vapor in the upper atmosphere. Filtration occurs within the earth, producing crystal-clear spring water beneath the ground.
The Zuvo Water Filtration System uses the same powerful cleansing processes found in nature. It uses a patented, five-step process to produce clean, healthy, great tasting water... just the way nature intended!
Step 1: SAFE Ozonation**
In nature, ozone is generated by lightning and cleans the air where rainwater forms. The Zuvo Filtration system mixes cleansing ozone with incoming tap water to treat taste and odour contaminants and improve taste. Like chlorine, Zuvo ozone is a safe, powerful oxidizer. Unlike chlorine, ozone leaves no chemical residue.
Step 2: Ultraviolet Light
The safe ozone saturated water is flooded with high-intensity UV light - the same as the solar energy that cleans water in the upper atmosphere.
Step 3: Photo-Oxidation
The Zuvo Water Filter System combines UV and ozone in a patented process known as photo-oxidation which releases powerful oxidizers to further treat the water and reduce bacteria.
Step 4: Filtration with Lead Removal
Pure spring water is created by passing through fine particles in the earth. Zuvo uses the same principle by passing water through a Class 1 Particulate Reduction Carbon Filter, reducing chlorine taste and odour, lead, and tiny particulates.
The filter also converts residual ozone to fresh oxygen.
Step 5: Post-Filtration UV

Ozone is made up of one thing: Oxygen. Ozone in nature is that fresh, clean scent after a thunderstorm; it is nature's way of cleaning and sanitizing. Ozone as a sterilizing agent is the most powerful cleaning agent available today. Ozone or O3 is basically a colourless, odourless gas that reacts immediately with anything that comes into close contact. It is the greatest biocide and is used in water treatment plants to treat water because it reacts with water and kills viruses, fungus, bacteria, and various micro organisms that are present in the water, thereby purifying it.
